  1. Hi, I'm Elyra, multirank 1 from Hellscream realm and I want to share with you my new pvp vid. I focused more on the editing than on the gameplay, so don't expect an "AT style" movie Thx for watching
  2. PvP scaling PvP scaling is a PvP game mechanic introduced with Battle for Azeroth. It adjusts the damage dealt to enemy players as well as healing to friendly players while engaged in PvP combat to partially compensate for gear item level differences between players. It is only applied to players between levels 110 to 120 and is intended to reduce the power gains acquired from gear in PvP, but not completely negate it.[1] It is applied in all PvP activities such as world PvP, arenas, battlegrounds and duels. Contents 1In-depth explanations 1.1Example 2Additional information 3References In-depth explanations When player A deals damage to player B, the game server adjusts the damage dealt by a coefficient computed from player A character level, player A equipment item level, player B character level and player B equipment item level. If player A and player B are both level 120 and have exactly the same item level in every equipment slot, then the scaling coefficient is 1 and no scaling occurs. Otherwise, damage scaling will occur and player A will see unscaled damage in his combat log whereas player B will see the scaled damage in his combat log. The scaling coefficient can be determined by dividing the damage seen by player B by the damage seen by player A. Scaling applies equally to all sources of damage including auto-attack, class abilities, consumables and trinkets. Example Player A is a veteran, well-geared level 120 character and player B has just hit 120 and barely has any gear. Player A casts Fireball on player B and sees 10000 damage on his screen and combat log. Player B sees on his screen and combat log that this Fireball has actually dealt 8000 damage to him. Player B health is reduced by 8000 and we can deduce the scaling coefficient of player A against player B is SA/B = 8000 / 10000 = 0.8 Scaling coefficient of player B against player A will be the inverse: SB/A = 1 / SA/B = 1 / 0.8 = 1.25 Player B then retaliates with his own Fireball which only deals 6000 damage. Player A will actually take 7500 damage: 6000 x SB/A = 6000 x 1.25 = 7500 Additional information The following information has been discovered through in-game testing: Buffs or class modifiers (such as passive tank health increase) do not affect the scaling coefficient. Only equipped gear is considered for PvP scaling; items held in bags or bank do not affect the scaling coefficient. Scaling helps the under-geared player, up to a minimum item level of 286 in the equipment slot at level 120. For this reason, players should never go in PvP with empty equipment slots. This can be verified in-game with /run print(GetAverageItemLevel()) while being naked: the third value which corresponds to PvP item level will be 286. Equipment slots are weighted to compute scaling coefficient. For example, weapon slot contributes more and ring slots contribute less to the final scaling coefficient. Different items with the same item level in the same equipment slot will result in the same scaling coefficient regardless of the presence of enchantments or minor attributes such as Leech, Speed and Avoidance. Gems do contribute to the scaling coefficient (an empty gem socket doesn't). Gems previously didn't contribute to the scaling coefficient due to the abuse of players equipping low-level gear with many gem slots, this has been hotfixed.[2] Damage numbers displayed on battlefield and arena scoreboards are consistent when viewed by different players. It shows the sum of all scaled damage dealt by each player. Healing numbers behave similarly. References ^ Phalanx 2018-06-29. Forum: Scaling details please. 3. Hello, dear FS. Let me share the story with you, how FS admin, and the owner of the project, betrail our community. Some of you probably heard about PVP 2s Tournament which was taken place last Sunday, Oct. 3rd. This tournament was fully organized by two players, Dusti and Daug. Daug was given away the reward for the 1st place - full bis charter. Shortly after announcement, FS admin Shelby agreed to help with tournament, FS administration made an annoucement in discord channels plus Shelby agreed to give away gold points to the 8 teams - 100 € gold points equivalent for the 2nd place, 50€ for the third, 25€ for the 4th place. Here is the schreenshot as a proof of that Of course, it attracted many players, including me and my 2s partner, to participate. As a result, event had 32 players with 8 teams. Some people had take a day off from work to come, some had give up a holiday to participate. Personally, I had to wake up 4 am my local time in order to fight for the prize. We spent 4 hours for the event, fighting on the arena. The event went well, most of people did enjoy it, the winners were defined. The rewards to the 8 teams promised to be distributed within few days. On Tuesday, Shelby told us in 2s tournament discord group ( https://discord.gg/CC25QKj7 check it by yourself) that he wont give any rewards because one of the event holders (Dusti) said on his stream that on his opinion FS QA and developers are bad, and if FS will fix that, it could be a really good server. You can check that clip https://streamable.com/b53ox8 Only because of these words server owner decided not to keep his word and just shit on whole pvp community. I think most of you will agree to me, that it's not honest not to keep your word already after event is finished. People spent their time and effort for this event. So, if you don't keep your word after the work is done, what kind of person are you? True, a lier, the one who doesnt deserve any trust. More absurd here, is that according to the Shelby logic, people who participated in the event ARE RESPONSIBLE for the words of other people (in that case it's Dusti). Let me share the screenshot: Shelby is saying that Dusti shit on server. You all can check the clip and make sure that Dusti just gave his personal critic regarding 1 aspect of the server, it was already after the event. There were no hate, there were no trashtalk, just his personal opinion and it was given in a very polite manner. The only person who "shit on the server" in that case, is Shelby. He gave a word to support the event, give away the rewards to the players, but instead he just shown his total disrespect to the whole PVP community. Several people confirmed that Shelby is the main admin, so I dont expect that my post will change his opinion or some1 will fix his mistake and justice will prevail. At least, as a player, I can let all you guys know, who is the server owner really is. Shelby is not able to take any criticism, even in a light form, he doesnt respect our community and doesnt keep his word. A few words personaly to Shelby, if you will read it. You were afraid to give the rewards just because it could bring damage to your (or server) reputation. In fact, no1 can bring more damage to FS reputation than you, man. And you just did it. As I said, the only one who shit on server in that case, is YOU. If you think that you can waste people time, promising them rewards, then just fraud them and they will forget it, you are totally wrong.
  4. Greetings ! As we previously announced, next Wednesday, October 6th will mark the beginning of the new season 4 for PVP, as a way to give it a fresh breath and add some new features to make the whole system less bothersome. On top of that, we also mentioned that we wanted to organize our very own Firestorm MDI: a Mythic+ dungeon tournament with real cash prizes and this refresh of a season is a great timing to get things started ! More details below related to its organization, how to participate etc: make sure to read through the whole post so you won't miss on anything NEW PVP SEASON Since the 8.3 update shipped around 6 months ago, puting an end to the current season allowed us to "refresh" the ladder, give some rewards in the meantime but also make some large-scale changes without introducing them mid-season. Starting Wednesday October 6th, with the new season (which will still be a season 4 reward-wise) we will implement changes that tackle the most important issues forwarded to us for the past month: Unfairness to fight better-geared players: while it's perfectly normal that someone who is 475 ilvl has an easier time fighting a 425 ilvl player, the difference seemed to be overwhelming to the point that there was no chance at all for players to climb above a certain rating in rated arenas. Back when Sethraliss was released we decided not to implement retail's scaling because it had too many flaws, so we scripted something similar but simpler that we can tweak easily in real-time to lesser the impact of ilvl differences: if you hit or heal someone who has better gear, your damage / heals will be boosted by a % calculated based on the ilvl gap. Obviously, you will never get an advantage by being the lower ilvl player, but this should render some matches a bit more skill based rather than relying solely on gear difference. We'll asses the initial values and tweak it if it's either too strong, or too weak to notice. The tedious process of gearing yourself: aside from being rewarded random gear at the end of battles, the current system gives you a specific piece of equipment when you cap your conquest each week, which sometimes mean you have to wait months before getting that piece you really need. So we're getting rid of that by introducing a custom PVP vendor which will sell every piece (and tokens to increase gear's ilvl) for conquest currency, located at your PVP hub in Mugambala or Hook Point. We're getting rid of the weekly quest, but you will still need to cap your conquest each week if you want to unlock the PVP weekly chest: aside from that you should be able to now regularly buy that specific gear your character is lacking ! The infamous wintraders: while our replay system made it impossible for high rated players to wintrade, some people still exploit the system to get gear at lower ratings, which is something troublesome. It makes it look unfair for those who play legit, and even if we catch them, everything they obtained will still remain after their account suspension has ended. Therefore, we will now remove every BFA gear from convicted wintraders depending on the case at hand. This should make most of them think twice before deciding to abuse this way. Our rulebook has been edited to reflect on that change, which you can access here. Echoes of Ny'alotha gains doubled: In every PVP activities you will receive twice as much echoes to help you get corruptions faster ! Malefic Core price halved: to help newcomers and alts increase their cloak level faster. While the last point isn't something that will really affect most of you, the first 2 are important changes that we think will help PVP as a whole, and may entice new players to try this very different aspect of World of Warcraft: if you have been hesitant to join the fray, now would be the time as it will feel fairer, and more rewarding ! We'll keep a close eye on their impact, and potentially tweak a thing or two based on your feedback: so don't hesitate ! FIRESTORM MDI Teased in our latest announce, it's now time to unveil the mysteries surrounding the Firestorm MDI first edition ! Special Thanks to Zuhal for his addon, and to Alexiuly for his help setting everything up The whole tournament will take place in 3 separated steps: Qualifiers 1st Round: Those will take place on Sethraliss starting Wednesday October 6th and will last around 4 weeks. Everyone's "dungeon skill" will be measured using a custom addon similar to Raider.io: the highest the key, and the faster the completion the better ! You can track your own Firestorm.io (or Fio) here (link to be added soon™). Once this round of qualifiers is over, we will select everyone above a certain rating to enter the 2nd phase. This first selection will be fairly lenient, to allow for newcomers to have a shot even if they don't have a full BIS character. Qualifiers 2nd Round: Those will take place on a separate realm only dedicated to the MDI. Those who qualify will be granted access, and will find there vendors with every piece of gear, essence and corruptions to make the optimal build on their characters, and create their team of 6 players (the 5 main + a sub). Once their team has been validated, they will then need to compete there and build up their Fio. The top X teams will then access the final phase: the tournament itself. The Tournament: This part will be fully streamed, with a double elimination bracket. Two teams will race each other on a designated dungeon at a set key, and the fastest to complete it will move forward until the best team has been revealed ! Obviously, any abuse / exploit used during the tournament will result in instant disqualification. All matches of the tournament will be reviewed to ensure fairness from all parts. The cashprize will include 7500 euros, Firestorm Points and exclusive in game rewards. The first team will get 5000 euros, while the rest will receive splits of the remaining amount depending on their placements. To help newcomers participate, we will also have a special Boris from Friday October 8th to Friday October 15th that will give 430 ilvl gear so you can start running Mythic+ right away ! This is our first time setting up something like this, but we want to give it our best, because it could be the first of many Firestorm MDI! So spread the word, start preparing and contacting potential teammates, because the battle will be fierce ! See you soon, The Firestorm Team

LEGION Rewards have been distributed ! We decided to restart the Legion season order which means it was the Vindictive Gladiator ! Here are the thresholds for the 2v2 bracket: Vindictive Gladiator (2300+ rating): Achievement, Title, Mount and 100 Firestorm Points Gladiator (2200+ rating): Achievement, Title, Mount and 50 Firestorm Points Duelist (2100+ rating): Achievement and Title Rival (2000+ rating): Achievement and Title Challenger (1900+ rating): Achievement and Title The other brackets weren't rewarded due to the low amount of participation, as it's the case for a few seasons now. Congrats to all the gladiators out there ! BATTLE FOR AZEROTH Considering the time since this 4th season started, we though it was best to put an end to it and restart it freshly to give a second breath to PVP on Sethraliss. Rewards have been processed in the 2v2 bracket: Corrupted Gladiator (2900+ rating / top 10 players): Achievement, Title, Mount and 100 Firestorm Points Gladiator (2700+ rating): Achievement, Title, Mount and 50 Firestorm Points In case you haven't checked it, there were some important changes applied on BFA for this new season, which you can read in this dedicated post: http://fstorm.cc/EN-BFA-PVP-MDI Congratulations to all the gladiators, and good luck for this new season !
  6. You enter an arena and you spend more time in the waiting room than in the arena right now, the damage is so insanely broken dudes, like WTF!? And is not just corruption, is from any fount: spells, Azerite traits, my character has 20 of versa but it resive hits of 70, 80 K??? i'v never seen that happends on retail you tube vids. Are we playing BFA or Shawoland's first week? the cc chains have no dr at all wtf guys? this mechanics are basic on WoW servers. i heard the cry of people wen BFA was active: healers never dies, never ending arenas...i have never see that in this server, arenas of 3sec and silk healers. You have to do something, pvp is unplayable
  7. I dont think vitality conduit is working as intended in arenas, instead of trasnfering hp from higher hp teammate to lower hp teammate it transfers hp to dmg. Here is screen from details.
  8. Hey! I've just recently started playing here on Legion - Sylvanas. Unfortunately, I didn't check the average population online and once I did, it got me thinking: after reaching full lvl, is there enough to do? I like to go PvP too but I can imagine with not enough people it may take ages to get into BG. As I checked the other servers, Legion seems to be dead overall. Is it worth to XP?
  9. Good afternoon guys and Firestorm Team, hopefully you´re all well! I saw several topics regarding an unbalanced pvp situation (mostly horde pvp players) and a few wishes for the crossfaction system. But there is no closed topic where I am able to see the result of the discussion and sadly no Firestorm employee replied. So lets talk about some pro´s and con´s. Pro´s: balanced battlerground situation / Less invite times / Less invite times on 40ppl battleground / ...... Con´s: Players will get an race which they will not want / Somebody doesn´t want to play for the other faction / ....... Let me know if you guys have additional pro´s and con´s! What could be a helpful proposal/suggestion? 1. Let´s do an additional alternative to the xp-rate npc where you will be able to choose x-faction! This shouldn´t be mandatory but helpful. 2. Make sure if you will join in groups, all members will be playing for the same faction. Also here, let me know if you have a really good proposal/suggestion Last but not least, I wish you a "Merry Christmas"! -Wirex
  10. The azerite essence "Guardian of Azeroth" ruins PvP so much, you cant do anything against it and there is no counterplay. It shoots through walls and is the main dmg for everyone using it. Can you guys please tune it down or atleast give it a cast time like Essence of the focusing Iris
  11. As you can see the player is using a quest item or something to kill people, you cant even hit him or the robot because he is evading attacks please bad, thank you. Player name: Guzelya
  12. Its okay to insult @xxssyy
  13. Hello, please enjoy this video i have made. (May contain strong language in the song(s) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irRzhfHij4Y&feature=youtu.be
  14. ☆LOOK AT MY PQR☆ Tired of inactive guilds? Are you looking for good players who have fun instead of always having to win? Do you always want to be able to rely on your guild? Then you are exactly right with us! ➤ Who are we? We are a small, friendly, but battle-oriented German and English speaking guild. LOOK AT MY PQR was founded 4 years ago with the aim of combining success and fun. Initially, the guild consisted mainly of a group of friends who immersed themselves in the World of Warcraft adventure for the first time. When we dispute this, we met many friendly and open-minded players who also loved to play. Since everything is more fun together, we decided to expand our guild and then grew. Our originally small guild grew like a big family. Support was no longer a foreign word. However, the point came when we noticed that fewer and fewer of our members were playing actively. We became fewer and fewer from month to month and this demotivated many of our other members, which is why we were inactive for a certain period of time. But now we have decided to rebuild exactly what we once had, so we are looking for YOU! ➤ Everyday life in the guild? We play PvP almost every day, but we're not a pure PvP guild. We don't just play PvP with each other, we also do other things together. For some members it is therefore normal that you only do something briefly in the game, even if you don't want to play PvP. Sometimes we just write in the guild or farm transmog, sometimes we play PvE and more. If there are any problems, we don't avoid them, but talk to each other until everything is in order, because that's what creates a good guild atmosphere. Even if you are not online and do not have the time right now, you can keep in touch with us. You can find out everything else in the following points. ➤ What do we offer? We offer friendly and active players with maturity. If you have any questions or problems, the guild management is always available, no matter when. For all our members we provide a Discord server which allows the members to communicate better with each other. Since we pay close attention to being together in the guild, we also offer a fun atmosphere with which you can easily pass the time all day long. ➤ How to apply? Are you interested in our guild and want to be part of us? Then just note the following points and you can reply directly to this post. Antoher option would be to whisper the following players in the game. ➀ Lvl90 + 520 ilvl ➁ can speak English or German ➂ be online at least 2-3 times a week ➃ possess mental maturity ♦ You can whisper to ♦ ✓ Imbadshøt ✓ Shailu
  15. The current PVP season on Sethraliss, our BFA realm will end on Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 at 06:00 PM (server time). The ladder will be frozen at this point, and we will proceed to the usual end of season checks for wintrades. The rewards will be given the following week (an announcement will be made when they are done, do not worry!). A brief interseason will then take place, while we wait for the Season 2 to begin, which will be on the 8.2 client coming soon! The rewards will be distributed to 2v2 and 3v3 regardless of the factions (since 2v2 is our most active ladder, we're extending rewards in this bracket.) Please note that you need at least 50 games played to be eligible for rewards, and that depending on the state of the ladder post-check, the thresholds may be changed. (If they do, we will update this post) Here is the list of rewards for 2v2: Top 1 to 13: Dread Gladiator Title, Achievement and Mount. Top 14 to 25: Gladiator Title, Achievement and Mount. Here are the rewards for 3v3: Top 1 to 7: Dread Gladiator Title, Achievement and Mount. Unlike previous expansions, the other titles & achievements for Combatant, Challenger, Rival & Duelist are given automatically to players during the season on both brackets, and the Gladiator one is given automatically on the 3v3 bracket. Good luck and congratulations to all participants.
  16. Hello, i read so many forum posts about currently pvp state and seen so many of it already. I said this before that i do not wanna sound like a crying kid but this weekend i had free time to play fully pvp. Because of unstable server i qued unable to go in and lost like 160 pts from that and around 60-70 pts from disconnects. It's already messy i mean the hps are not scaling the classes are very likely no balanced even the stun durations are not working properly. Not the mention full 425 geared ( bis traits around 250-300k hps with tons of sockets ) players wich most likely instant lose or way too much try hard. Why did this firestorm pvp turned into this shit fest in this expension ? It was very good on the legion sure there was bugs on some classes that given unfair advantage to other players but it wasn't this messy. A rogue dies without cheat death proc, paladin do 189k temple verdict, udk ( fixed value necrotic strike %5 and incress %10 when it crits wich should not have tho. ) Nobody really like to explain anything to players about these stuff? I am pretty sure that the guy named tweek try to explain stuff and say that i am trying to flame here or trying to throw tanturm but whatever i said is totally truth. Look at the warmane i mean old expensions with thousands of players cause of stable service. How about firestorm atm ? Losing players constantly i mean it's okay if you are up for the losing so many more but we love here and it's really not hard to deal with these stuff. You guys fixing stuff that barely 10-15 people care about instead of fixing stuff that hundreds of people ask i mean why ?
  17. Hello, I wrote a report in RU forum about abusing the bugged talent https://www.wowhead.com/spell=270658/azerite-fortification by some players (including r2 player Jawñ). The problem is that this talent is not scaling by pvp modificator on arena and increased by actual healing shown on description. Test made by MadK0rt (he is a part of the RU testers team) shown that instead of 5k healing on arena, the talent does healing of 31k. It's a huge advantage given only by 1 piece of gear. So, 3 of them in total (head-shoulders-chest) make the healer almost unkillable on arena if the team tries to focus him. In 2s the passive talent healing will be more than 20% of total healing made in that case. The thing is some players are abusing this bug. For example, player Jawñ was catched while queuing 2s with all of 3 pieces of gear with this talent. He is defenetly aware of abuse because 1 azerite item with this talent even was 365 instead of his rest items (385-390 ilvl). I notifed the RU administators about that and suggested to double check the top ladder players if they have all 3 pieces of gear with that talent and provide the punishment since they break the server rules: General exploiting: The malicious use of bugs in a way that normal game-play would not permit, generally giving the user an unnatural advantage. Punishment: 1 day account suspension to permanent account suspension. It's important to clarify that to get all 3 high ilvl pieces of gear with that talent is almost impossible. So, if the player has it, it means he is definitely was abusing the bug. RU adminisrator Madorana replied to me that they will notify Firestorm stuff about that case and they will make a decision about the punishment. So, I just want to double check that you guys are aware of the problem. Can some1 here from stuff team confirm that? I also want to know if the fact of this bug abuse will influence the results of PVP seasonal check? Personaly, I think it would be unfair to reward the players who was catched on bug abuse so that's why I'm asking you to double check all top25 players if they have all 3 pieces of gear with that talent on it and provide the punishment. Here are the screenshots made by MadK0rt (RU tester on Firestorm) during his test of that talent https://dropmefiles.com/gR0Fh (it's in russian but he speaks eng so he can confirm that). It shows that instead of 5k healing, the talent does 31k on arena. Here are the screenshots of player Jawñ with 3 pieces of gear containing the bugged talent https://dropmefiles.com/1G3y8
  18. My friend and I want to do some 2v2s but my ilvl on my main is 395 and his is 370. If I were to do 2v2s with him with a alt item set at 370 as well, will the LFG R Arenas use the overall average ilvl (including bags and bank) when selecting teams (e.g. selecting based off ilvl 395 if I put my current equipped in the bank instead of my alt set of 370)? Or since I switch to my 370 alt set and he is 370 normally, LFG will pick teams that are around the 370 range? or its based on whatever team queued for 2v2s and ilvl doesn't matter? I read about the ilvl scaling on the other forums about the overall average and what it includes so I don’t think that what I am asking will work but wanted to get some insight in case I was missing something.
  19. I had already opened many and many tickets in this regard, he had intervened after a day to help me but in the end I was told that it would be better for a gm. I have been waiting for a reply for 2 weeks but nothing, I continue to do pvp (I'm a pvp player) so I don't do anything else. I need help and if possible I can get my arena and bgs points back if possible. I'm aware that the server is free but I'm still spending my time, thanks. Sorry for the bad English. -Pyroi
  20. Hello everyone! If you read our announcement about Sethraliss’ 3rd content update, you’re aware that for a little while now, we started working on the development of 8.1 content on a 8.2 client. At first, only a few devs were assigned to it, but now almost all of them are working on it, which also explains why our 8.0 development is lighter now (less tickets in the live changelog is one of the symptoms). In that last announcement done in July, we mentioned that we were aiming for a release mid October: we’re halfway there, so we figured it would be a good time to share with you our progress and aims for the release! The ETA of the release is now the end of October (just a slight delay in 2 months worth of development). In the meantime, we’re still taking care of Sethraliss and making sure our 8.0 version is stable, don’t worry! A few developers are still monitoring it and making sure the important issues are addressed (major spell bugs, main questline / Uldir issues, etc). As we said before, the client itself will be an 8.2 client (the latest we can), but the content we are scripting is the one directly following what you currently have on Sethraliss: 8.1 questlines, zone & raid. We do not wish to skip anything from the content part, but having an 8.2 client will allow us to keep on scripting up to 8.2 without having to update the client again, which is a huge gain of time for us. So do not worry, you won’t miss on anything BFA has to offer! For those that remember our Legion’s development, we did a similar thing when updating our client from 7.1.5 to 7.3.5, without skipping any of the 7.2 content. One thing worth mentioning though is the class balance that will be taken from 8.2 right away when the 8.2 FS client is released. We’re aware that this means you won’t be doing the content with its related balancing, but there are several reasons that made us stick to this choice (again, the same way it was done on Legion): It drastically reduces dev time: between each game version, a lot of balance changes are done, including removal & addition of new traits or spells: Altering one spell for 8.1, and then again when we’d get into 8.2 content would take twice the amount of time. In essence, later versions are often “better” balanced than earlier ones: some bugs or unintended features are fixed, and the strongest classes are usually slightly nerfed while the weakest are buffed, which leads to a healthier state of the game. That point is up for debate, we’re aware, but it still explains why we also believed this was a good approach. For a few weeks now, our Quality Assurance team is focussing on making reports of class changes, and our developers are fixing them. On the side, some QA members are testing the next raid, Battle of Dazar’Alor (most bosses have their main script done, and require feedback for adjustment). As a reminder, you can apply to join our Quality Assurance team and help us bring out the best release possible here! Here is our developer assignment at the moment: 1 dev on Sethraliss monitoring & major bug fixing 3 devs on BoD (one per wing, so 3 bosses each) 2 devs on class fixing 2 devs on the continuation of the war campaign (one for each side) 1 dev on Darkshore 1 dev on PVP invasions Also, as you may have seen for the past months (and still ongoing) we have a few developers that work on low-level zones or older expansion questlines: Gilneas & Kezan have been rescripted, Elwynn Forest is on the way and we also have a developer working on WoD’s main questline: the idea is to then rescript fully a “leveling route” that will allow you to level up from 1 to 110 as easily as you can level up from 110 to 120 on BFA’s questlines. This means, broadly, scripting 1 zone of each level range available where every race can go without too much effort. Now for the more detailed list of what’s planned on our 8.2 client release! Currently on Sethraliss, every 8.0 content short of the Island Expeditions are available. We know we announced them a while ago, but their development got delayed: rest assured, one of our developers is working on them at the moment, and 3 islands should be available at the release! As usual, when doing a client update / new expansion release, a Public Test Realm will be set up so players can test the new contents. 8.2.0 release content at launch: 8.2 Class balance 8.1 War campaign continuation New allied races / Kultiran / Zandalari 1st wing of Battle of Dazar'alor New endgame zone Darkshore Siege of Boralus and Kings' Rest available on Heroic difficulty. PVP Invasions Azerite gear Vendor New Azerite traits Then, from there on we will script content as it was released on retail: 2nd and 3rd wing of BoD, then the full Mythic mode, then the 3rd Raid Crucible of Storms alongside its quests, and finally 8.2 zones. As you noticed, we plan on releasing BoD wing by wing (like we used to on Legion) and not fully at once as we did with Uldir. We initially thought that releasing the raid all at once would help deliver a better experience for players, and this point still stands; but what we underestimated was the impact in terms of workflow: It’s harder to test all the bosses at once for the QA, and harder for the developers as well, who have to make some bug fixes as long as 3 months after the boss was released. On top of that, we saw on Uldir that only a few guilds actually profited from the full release, as most were progressing (in HM at least) at a pace close to 1 wing / month, which is what we plan on doing on BoD. Easier to test & to fix means higher quality, to the “price” of quantity. We thought we could manage it on Uldir, but it wasn’t really conclusive so we’re switching back to the old, more manageable way! FIRESTORM Q&A It’s been a while since we gave you guys the chance to ask us about Firestorm, and the 8.2 client update sounds like a great opportunity! On Tuesday, October 1st 6 PM Server Time, we will be hosting a Questions & Answers on the public discord! Its system will be the same as the previous times: We’ll unlock a channel for you to post questions, then lock it and take time to answer them: there will be about 5 or 6 rounds. Please read carefully everything in this devblog to not waste questions on stuff that we already explained! EDIT: Transcript of the Q&A available here! Thank you for your time! We hope this will shed some light on the 8.2 client update! The Firestorm Staff

  22. guild

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in either making a 110 or 119 twinking guild just for fun mainly if you get board from end game content. If you would like to talk more about it with me about the idea, please feel free to shoot me a message either on here or on discord. Reedpriest#1003
