      All Problems on Firestorm for Linux-Users are ---> the LAUNCHER !!! To run ANY WoW-Version (from Wotlk to TWW) you normally JUST need a Wine-Installation, wine-dxvk-Package (or "wintricks dxvk" if your Linux-Distro doesnt include the wine-dxvk-package) to improve Performance. Since Wine 9 or 10 I dont even need to install the vcrunXXX.dll to run WoW! The other requirment: you need a minimal WoW-Install of the used Freeshard (mostly the Wow.EXE and a wtf-file with the Logon-Server-Connection). The rest will be downloaded when started. To start: just change to the directory of your wow-Install in the wine-environmont and run "<optional Wine-Prefix> wine WoW.x.y.exe". To easy that, make a desktop-starter with path and execute-command. Since some time you need on Firestorm that (for Linux-User IMO totally USELESS) Launcher, who needs DEEP Windows Interna. I cant find any Download to get the elementally needed files (Exe and wtf-file). So I stopped playing. My SUGGESTION: For all those that dont NEED or LIKE the Launcher, make a small Package of the elementary WoW-Files and make it downloadable. Anything else can be done via WebSite. ---> Then no Linux-User should have any Problem.

      The first time to install the launcher on my distro linux EndeavourOS, I needed Microsoft Edge webview2, so I installed it. I managed to install the launcher, but it doesn't open at all, it just leaves a black window, and it doesn't even close. (wine lastest)  Just today, my intention was to appeal to devs to support the community that uses Linux as its main system and simply cannot play due to lack of compatibility. It would be very good to leave the client separate to manually download and run the game on their own, since the idea of a Linux launcher is so distant... I'd like to mention Whitemane, which has several versions of its launcher, including for Linux! But that's okay, among Linux users we're already used to being thrown into the corner... tyvm
