    • Note: This text was edited by a AI for clarity, but the thoughts and the core message are entirely my own. @Kvintus, your 14 years on the server give you survivorship bias. You view WoW as a slow, casual journey of questing, which is fine for some. But for competitive players coming strictly for Mythic+ and high-end raiding or PVP, questing is a mind-numbing and mathematically inefficient waste of time. For a tank with instant queues, fast dungeon spamming is the logical standard. Your point about retail is also outdated: once the campaign is done on a main, retail alts level exclusively through dungeon spam. Broken dungeon scaling isn't a feature to encourage questing; it’s a technical flaw that filters out skilled endgame players. Ultimately, a healthy server needs its population in the endgame, not scattered across leveling zones. Pushing players to the level cap as fast as possible is exactly what creates a thriving community with more active groups for M+, raids, and PvP. Thx for ur reply.
    • I don't really know what the problem here might really be, but I am on this server on and off for 14 years already and want to give my point of view. The leveling experience is at it's best it has ever been (ask anyone who played during WoD times lmao, I remember the wasp farm). Maybe try doing quests instead of dungeon spamming? When I tried to level some of my old alts in Dragonflight, it was hard at first cause I had really shit gear and couldn't kill many mobs at once, but I was perfectly capable of getting some gear from quests and the experience got far better.
And I mean blizzard themselves would think you should level doing quests since you need to complete the whole questline in the expansion to unlock world quests. So why not help yourself and do quests, get some better gear, eventually open WQs and just do a dungeon once in a while? Maybe the experience would be better for you idk... I just think doing quests is the best way to level in current wow.
    • Note: This text was edited by a AI for clarity, but the thoughts and the core message are entirely my own. Hello @Ingethel. You misunderstood my point. I am not attacking your server or your team; I am actually trying to offer a practical solution. I completely agree that you shouldn't compare a volunteer-run private server to a multi-billion dollar company. I also agree that your developers' limited resources should be focused entirely on actual, current endgame content, not on fixing obsolete leveling bugs. My point is exactly that: Modern WoW is exclusively about the endgame. I am not asking your team to fix the leveling dungeons. I am asking you to let players bypass them faster because, currently, some of them are physically broken. Here is the daily leveling reality on Firestorm: I queue up, and it throws me into a Dragonflight dungeon (since other timelines are basically dead for leveling). If I get Ruby Life Pools, the very first room is absolute hell. Mob scaling is entirely broken—they one-shot the tank and have unbreakable shields. If I get The Nokhud Offensive, I am not allowed to dragonride. I am forced to just leave the group  (and yes, I know about the flight master workaround, but it doesn't solve the actual flow of the dungeon). All the other dungeons have same kind of issues, or just extreamly long due to damage-hp tuning. I am not "defaming" your shop. I actually want to play on your server and enjoy your endgame. But you have to look at it from a new player's perspective: when someone hits these unplayable, overtuned walls at level 30, they don't wait months for the "Boris" event to give them a free boost—they just uninstall and leave. I am suggesting a permanent x5 XP rate or a basic skip precisely so your devs don't have to waste their valuable time fixing low-level scaling in Ruby Life Pools. Give players a fast track to the part of your server that actually works. P.S. The fact that I can get a live response from a human moderator here is actually one of the main reasons I left retail. Thank you.
    • Hello @Wanhallen  I understand that coming from retail to a private server might be quite an experience. But you cannot have the same expectations for a multibillion dollar company and a small private server that is run mostly by volunteers. Of course, there are some bugs and hiccups but it is unfair and unnecessary to accuse us of intentionally making it hard to level. That is simply a defamation. Our team works very hard, so you would be able to play World of Warcraft for free.  Free boosts? We do actually have those. During big events and celebrations we have a special NPC Boris that provides a level boost and can be used once per account, per event. And there is no shortage of players who are enjoying the endgame without any kind of real money donations. Only a small amount of players prefer to skip the grind and get the gear from Shop. They are not the majority. Everyone has their reasons. Yes, we do not have the resources as retail does but we do the best with what we have. So I kindly ask you to stay respectful. If private server is not enough for you, there is always the retail. If you want to help us get better - when you come across bugged or missing content, please create a detailed report on Bug Tracker. That way our team can take a look.  Best Regards, Senior Support - Ingethel Firestorm International Team
    • U kinda r worded or what? A lot players will never see endgame on this server coz of bad lvling exp. U literally have 3-5k peak online, its not THAT much. And if u personally went through that dogwater experience - doesnt mean it must not be changed.
Also, how u gonna lvl easy if i literally playing a tank and we spend like 10-15 mins every dungeon, in a lot of dungeon mobs oneshotting u, absobr shields are unbreakable, that centaurus dungeon doesnt allow me to fly. Lvling is garbo, and thats fine. Free server should be about endgame, and all dev time should be focused there. But lvling is huge issue
