Honestly, The only thing I miss is that world was smaller & hence more manageable, where u wanted to go, what u wanted to do, which rep to farm, so on.

 

Other than that, the raids, bosses, PvP, has been pretty generic since end of 3.3.5 RS patch. Disenchanted 3 season top tier gear & realized, the gear chase is fairly redundant too.

 

More and more WoW seems like a timesink & chore than enjoyment, which i guess plays into wheelhouse of people with a lot of time on hand.

I enjoyed MoP PvP but I agree.

I recently quit retail WoW just over a month after Dragonflight, just felt the same.. Farming reps, mythic+, rated pvp.. Farming old content/achievements was the only other option. Not to mention not having the time I used to have like I did back then.

In here since TaranZhu Dec 2012. Can't remember my name as a GM exactly except that Droodic(Jeff) was my senior, and I once told Legnax that I eat Trial GMs for breakfast as he was one of them, long before he became Developer for the server and Administrator. =)  It was great time back then, a lot of players, a lot of fun.

Maybe these names ring a bell for your own nickname:
DevianCC, Surgical, Clonix, Judie, Eljosho, Mylana, Distt, 

Those are the ones I remember from Droodic's time period
