Please follow the instruction said on our support website right here: Support Firestorm.

    • Reset your user interface to make sure your files and addons are not corrupted.
    • Reset your network devices to make sure your router hasn't become flooded with data.
    • Shut down all computers connected to the modem/router.
    • Power down and unplug the modem and the router if you're using one.
    • Allow to sit for 60 seconds unplugged.
    • Plug in and turn on the modem and router, and allow them to completely boot up until the front panel connection lights on the modem show a steady connection.
    • Start the computer and allow it to completely boot up.
    • Release and renew your IP and flush your DNS to resolve any network conflicts.
    • Open a cmd by typing "cmd" in the Windows search bar.
    • Enter the following command : ipconfig/flushdns
    • Press enter.
    • Update your drivers to resolve any compatibility issues.
    • If you're using a wireless connection, optimize your internet connection to rule out a connection issue.

  2. Hello @Dan0SvK,

While some players prefer to level up slowly to have a better "story experience", the majority of players (and I mean 93% of players) prefer to level up fast to get to the endgame content faster. We did have an NPC that allows you to change your experience rate but that requires a lot of time scripting it for a niche feature that most people will not use.

You could make a suggestion however on our support website and it will be looked into thoroughly.

  3. Hello @T-Lar Seth,

If you want to level a character on Oribos, our Shadowlands realm, you will need to do so in that realm. Leveling in Shadowlands is different from how it was in the older expansions meaning you don't have to do all of the expansions in order to level. In Firestorm, we recommend doing the BFA Questline. This forum post will help you out:

    Hello Everyone

This isn't as much of a guide but it will point you in the right direction if you have no idea where to go nor where  to even begin

    Firstly:
We do not have Chromie implemented so ignore any guides around that.
We currently only offer Exile reach as a starting zone and BFA as your leveling routes.

Then we start off with Exile Reach I would recommend looking at this Guide to Exile's Reach - Walkthroughs and Lesson Analysis as it's extremely detailed and better worded than i ever could.

After you finished Exile Reach and you have no idea where to go, DO NOT FEAR,  as the following will help you with that.

    If you are Horde:
Talk to the Warchief's Herald in the Valley of Strength in Orgrimmar to start the BFA questline.
Then you start with Vol'dun following this guide.
After Vol'dun you will want to head to Zuldazar following this guide.
And the last zone you want to do is Namzir following this guide.

You will notice you have a questline called "War Campaign" this is to unlock the alliance sides of BFA and I recommend doing them, if possible, at the very end of all the zones.
You can follow this Guide if you are unsure of where to go or how to start it.

    If you are  Alliance:
Talk to the Hero's Herald in the Trade District in Stormwind to start the BFA questline.
Then you start with Tiragarde Sound by following this guide.
After Tiragarde Sound you will want to go to Drustvar following this guide
After Drustvar you will want to go to Stormsong Valley following this guide.

You will also notice you have a questline called "War Campaign" this is to unlock the Horde side of BFA and I recommend doing them, if possible, at the very end of all the zones.
You can follow this guide if you are unsure of where to go or how to start it.

I hope this clears up some issues you are having as a new player.
If you have any other questions/problems feel free to make a ticket on Our support or you can message me directly on discord VIA Ech0#0889

EDIT: if you level through exile's reach, I made a different guide that can be found here

Now if you want to have the best experience doing the questlines from each expansion, it is recommended to play on their respective servers as each server offers the best scripting for their endgame content. If you do so, don't expect to transfer your character over to the Shadowlands server since you can not do that. I want to also note that our Shadowlands server doesn't only provide the current content as it also offers a good amount of older content. You can find information about the available instances (Dungeons and raids) here.

As you can see, not all of the instances are available in Oribos so the benefit in older realms is to do those unavailable instances and the mounts/pets that you get there will also be available to use in Shadowlands. Again, your characters in different expansions are separated! but your mounts/pets are shared.

I hope i was able to answer your quest and if there's anything unclear, please respond to this forum and I will be happy to assist you.

  4. Hello @machette2guerre,

Have you tried the solutions mentioned in that post

If you are an allied race you need to finish the starting quest and you should see her, also if you have any quest mentioned in this article you need to abandon it / finish it and back in and out of Grommash Hold and she should appear in order for you to let you turn in the quest.

  5. Hello @CristianN,

The quest for the Bloodelf Heritage Armor (Summons from the Matriarch) was added in patch 9.2.5 and on Oribos, our Shadowlands server, it's still in 9.2 content. So in order to do the quest, you will have to wait for the next update. Stay tuned in our discord server for when that happens!

  6. Hello again,

The MAC client for the 9.2.7 Shadowlands patch takes a very long time to develop and looking at the number of players that do indeed play on Firestorm Shadowlands, it is not worth spending the time and effort on something small when we can spend more time developing the main content. However, that doesn't mean that you cannot play Shadowlands on MAC!

You can use VMWare to install windows on your MAC device and play on that instead. Heres a thorough tutorial on how to do that.

I will be closing this topic since there is no need for further discussion. If you need technical support, please make a ticket at Support Firestorm.

  7. Hello @AboutYuo,

The way it should work in retail is that you get XP when you fight pets that are the same or above your pet's own level and win.

Now for Firestorm after the changes made to battle pets, this could also be the case, but you will have to try this and see if it works that way or not since I'm not very sure about it.

I hope I was able to answer your question fully and if you have anything else to add, please reply to this topic.

  8. Hello @DrizzCat,

It seems that archaeology does not work properly on Oribos, our Shadowlands realm. Since Blizzard didn't give any attention to archaeology in shadowlands, it's possible that it got broken as time went on. Unfortunately, you will have to farm those mounts/pets in our older realms and they will be accessible to you in Oribos.

I hope I was able to answer your question. If you have any more concerning this topic, please reply to this forum post.

  9. Hello @Lukilele,

It is possible to craft certain gear pieces for level 50 using professions. For example, a cloth user can craft 87ilvl cloth pants with tailoring and they can be equipped at level 50.
Alternatively, you could do dungeons to get some gear pieces that help you out on your journey.
You could also ask for help from our community! You can join the world chat using the command /join world_en and ask for help there or ask for help in our discord Firestorm Server

I hope that I answered your question thoroughly and if you have any other concerns or need technical support, please make a ticket at Support Firestorm.

We hope you have a wonderful stay on our servers.
