Anything that you can put forward in your application, that would make us chose you over someone else!

      How to apply?
↓ If you think you would fit in the position, and wish to join the International GM team, please write us an email here: ↓
      »   fsrecruitmentinter@gmail.com   «
Knowing and mastering everything isn't required! You will join a team of people with their own set of skills: diversity is a good thing!   When you send your application, the email must necessarily have: In the subject, the proper expansion tag: [BFA] / [Legion] / [MOP]  Your discord account username & tag. Example: Discord#1234 All of your Firestorm account emails Your forum account name       The more information and details you provide, the better! Telling us that you're motivated in two lines probably won't work out: we expect to get to know you a little bit when reading your application. To get some insight on you, your personnal experience and knowledge!

Your application will be reviewed and we will send you an email back with our answer, usually within a week. If it gets accepted we will contact you directly on discord to proceed with a voice interview in order to get to know each other better!

If you have any questions regarding the international GM position, you can send a private message to either Melfela#2038 or 'Pantoufle™#8984 on discord.
The International staff thanks you for your interest, and hopes to hear from you soon!

      International Moderator Recruitment   04/27/21

Greetings, The Firestorm Team is currently looking for Forum and Discord Moderators to reinforce its ranks. It is possible to apply for one of the two platforms only.     Who are we, what are our jobs? The moderators are the people mainly in charge of monitoring the Firestorm forum and the International rooms on the public Discord. They have almost no power in game and will never intervene in game (except in very exceptional cases). They monitor the forum in terms of its content, moderate, warn and sanction people who do not respect the rules. They also provide assistance to players and respond to those who encounter problems.     How to apply ? Applications should be sent to the following address: >> fsrecruitmentinter@gmail.com <<
The subject of the email must start with the [Mod] tag.
A minimum of information is to be provided when applying. It goes without saying that two lines to say that you are motivated will not be enough.
We expect from you in this application an expression and development of your experiences / knowledge / personal information. If your application interests us, you will be contacted automatically by Discord or by email for a possible interview and then a test period will follow, the duration of which will depend entirely on you. Please indicate your firestorm account email as well as your nickname on the forum and that of discord so that we can look at your background and your behavior there.
Are required in your application: Be 16 years of age or older. Impeccable spelling. Know how to use a forum correctly. A minimum of knowledge on WoW. Being able to keep your cool, have rigor, regularity and autonomy. Discord & a functional microphone to facilitate intra-staff communication. Will be a plus for your application: Relatively wide schedules. Have already been a moderator on other forums or other discords (if so, indicate which ones). And what you may find interesting to highlight.   Please indicate your nickname on the forum and that of discord so that we can look at your background and your behavior there.   The Firestorm Team thanks you for your future involvement.
      See you soon.

Hello @teomazz01

Thank you for your inquiry.

Currently, having a fully boosted character to ilvl 252 doesn't mean that you will have the gear boosted to the next maximum available ilvl once the new content comes out. With all this being said, you will have to donate again in case you want to remain up-to-date with the latest ilvl gear for the respective patch.

However, please do note that if you take advantage of the undergoing promotion right now (until patch 9.2 is released), you will be able to take advantage and buy a fully boosted character for 1500 Firestorm Points (discount from 3000 FS points!), and once the new patch comes out, you will have a discount on the new gear, implying you will only have to spend 1500 Firestorm Points on the newly-inaugurated gear (instead of 3000 FS points).

NOTE: This applies only to users who have taken advantage of the ongoing promotion right now.

You can read more about the aforementioned matter within the #announcements channel in discord.

Should you have any further questions, please note that I am at your disposal.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Best regards,

Tetheros

Let's say you boosted 1 Char when Shadowlands was launched 9.0.5 (That is 200 Euros). Then the next patch 9.1.5 came out (another 200 Euros) to re-boost your already boosted char. Then 9.2.0 (another 200 euros to boost it again). Let's do the math:
9.0.5 Patch ( 200 Euro ) + 9.1.5 ( 200 Euro ) + 9.2.0 ( 200 Euro ) = 600 Euro for 1 char. (I am not adding other payments to get legendaries and whatever else)
Would you be so stupid as to boost another char at this point? It's not worth it.

Meanwhile, on retail, it goes like this:
50 Euros to buy the latest patch + 155 Euros 12 months subscription = 205 Euro to play on the original where EVERYTHING works.

Instead of offering a free upgrade or at least not a full price ffs, they through a cheap tactic to buy a boost now to use half now and half later not taking into consideration those that helped them financially up until now. It's like biting the hand that feeds you.

I do hope this will not get deleted. I will record the screen and put this on youtube just in case that happens and I will find a way to spread it.

The donated garbage has NEVER gotten free upgrades since the time of Elegon/TaranZhu (5.0).

Most of players play here not for being cheaper but cuz pandashan IP shows as a non gaming website.
Kids from East EU can donate using mommy's CC on a non-gaming site, many folks from NA (myself included) play while working (remotely) as server IP isnt picked on their work laptops as gaming site.

TLDR: Forget math, play for fun, if $$ is that hard to come by, play like 99.999999999% people who DO NOT P2W.

I am pretty sure people play here because it's free and non of that IP Mambo Jambo. Perhaps you do it but anyway. But if you play while working, I am sure you are being paid accordingly to the number of responsibilities you have that allows you to play during working hours.

This entire server, at its core, is a business, and just like all other businesses it needs funds to function. (Developers pay, electricity, hardware equipment, licenses, taxes on security certificates, taxes on the online shop, maintaining the servers, etc.) All these things cost money.

It is childish to jump to conclusions and say that "kids use mommy's card and all that", which in some cases it might be true, but all the people I know that donated (on Freakz or here)  including myself, have respectable jobs and family responsibilities and earn their own money. What everyone does with their money it's their problem and you would do the same if the amount of money given would not create financial problems for your lifestyle.  Again, everyone does whatever they wish with their money. Others pay $1.5k for a new phone that will be outdated next year, others pay 1k for a shirt, and others buy a boost on a private server.

Others enjoy playing the normal way (because they have time) others opt for a boost in order to enjoy the game (because they don't have time). Most players that are now willing to pay are past kids (at least 15 years ago) that are now adults and know how long it takes to reach a certain level and they just want to enjoy the wow experience in their 1-2 hours of free time without graining, farming and wait for idiots in raids to start and to witness the 12+ wipes on 1 boss.

The issue with their business style is that they treat a paying user the same way as a non-paying user. Think it logically, I would have paid for the second char boost and even a third but given the fact that there are at least 2 more patch updates, I am not willing to pay again for all my boosted chars. It makes no sense. If you want to keep these people that are willing to pay and help fund your business, you need to keep them engaged.
And from a business point of view, you lost a paying customer and in return, you are stuck with a bunch of non-payable players that complain constantly.
