Problems with “Heart of Azeroth”

4 posts in this topic

I am Druid Lv 59 and have had the Heart of Azeroth in my inventory for a long time. However, I can't equip it. What could be the reason for this?
I get the error message “This item cannot be equipped”

Recently got the same problem here, the issue was i got disconnected while opening the upgrade tabs for an azerite gear, and when i log on again, i discovered that my heart of azeroth was missing. Then i realized that i could redo the Dying World quest, and so i took the quest only to realize later that i can't continue. the quest got stuck when you are asked to speak with Magni outside of The Chamber of Heart. after all this, i just realized that the heart was placed by the game inside my mailbox saying problem with equiping/storing item. and so i took the heart right? but now im stuck with it and can't to do anything with it lol
NOTE : the screenshot here are taken after i took the Heart of Azeroth

Hello,

The Heart of Azeroth was an essential item from the Battle for Azeroth expansion, but it is no longer functional in later expansions like Dragonflight. The error message "This item cannot be equipped" likely results from the item being disabled for use in current expansion content.

Why You Can't Equip It:

  • The developers disabled equipping the Heart of Azeroth in newer expansions to maintain balance, as its traits and azerite bonuses are no longer relevant in the game's progression system.

Suggestions:

  • Keep It as a Souvenir: While it cannot be equipped, you can still keep it in your inventory or bank for collection purposes.
  • Check for Updates: Always keep an eye on the game changelogs for any adjustments regarding old expansion items.

If you have further questions about this or need assistance with anything else, feel free to ask.

Best regards,
