PvP Items stats change

After upgrading items in Zereth Mortis shouldn't the stats remain the same? 

As me and my friend got stats changed after we upped Pvp chest .

Hello @Smenuu

The set items do change. Every set has specific stats on each gear item. Even though it has changed, you can still upgrade the pieces with conquest.
