About essences Range 3 you Will be vale to buy those essences you have at least in Range 3 with another Char in the account

Do both chars have the same ilevel? Although people at that level range dont queue for dungeons, they lvl with missions and mobs

Try editing config.wtf and change the set portal.... to
SET portal "legion.logon.firestorm-servers.com"
Although you play bfa try with that portal

Do you have the mission to go to nazjatar in your questlog?
If yes, complet It and see if you get "a nation united" after that
