DK Starting Route

Hello I just came back to the game, I last played the expansion legion and missed playing wow again. Started a DK class and noticed that there is no more quest in ebon hold? is this a bug or intentionally. If it is intended could some of you suggest some leveling routes?

Welcome back to the game. The absence of quests in Acherus: The Ebon Hold for your Death Knight is not a bug—it’s intentional due to changes introduced in later expansions, including streamlined starting zones and level scaling systems.

Here’s what you can do to start leveling efficiently:

Starting as a Death Knight in Newer Expansions

1. Shadowlands DK Starting Experience:

   • If your DK starts at a higher level, you'll skip the old Ebon Hold questline. Check your quest log or Chromie Time options to see where your character is directed.

2. Check Chromie Time for Leveling Options:

   • Visit Chromie in your capital city (Stormwind for Alliance or Orgrimmar for Horde).
   • Choose an expansion campaign to level through. For returning players, Legion or Warlords of Draenor are often fast and engaging choices.

Recommended Leveling Routes

1. Level 10–60:

   • Choose one of the following expansions:
     • Warlords of Draenor: Access your garrison early for additional XP boosts.
     • Legion: Enjoy artifact weapon quests and class hall content, especially as a DK.
     • Battle for Azeroth: Begin the Kul Tiras/Zandalar storylines for variety.

2. Level 60–70 (Dragonflight):

   • Head to the Dragon Isles and progress through the zones in order: Waking Shores → Ohn’ahran Plains → Azure Span → Thaldraszus.

General Tips

• Use heirlooms or XP potions if available for faster leveling.
• Queue for dungeons via the Dungeon Finder to supplement questing.
• If quests remain missing, try logging out and back in or using the Stuck Character Service on the Firestorm website to ensure proper phasing.
