Trash mob loot tables wiped?

I used to visit Tomb of Sargeras and Antorus, The Burning Throne raids for their extensive trash loot drops. It was a nice way to farm gold by clearing the whole raid.

I have come to learn these raids have recently had their trash mob loot tables wiped. Can anyone provide a clue as to why this is?
