Problem with the download of shadowlands

The problem I have is that when I go in to the launcher and go to download and I get launcher file etc. But then when I choose the region and press ok I wait for it to download I was waiting hours and then I went into task manager to check if everything is ok but it wasn't I realised that it wasn't using network at all so nothing download so I checked the folder where it was supposed to download and it was still the same size. What do I do? Is it a problem with antivirus or something idk.
