[Accepted][WoD] Multiple world channels.

Seeing that the rules state in /join world it's english only and since the RU server's was merged into grommash, which is a international server

I would suggest a secondary world chat, /join worldRU This would remove the confusion between the english only channel and the russians speaking.
It would unclutter the chat of illegable text.

I support this idea, i lost my mind and spammed racist comments on world chat because of that( to be honest the merge was not announced and i was irritated with russian text suddenly flooding world chat, knowing that only english is allowed on world chat) resulting bann for me.

Hello!

There's no need for a RU world channel as normally there's .chatfilter .

As the chatfilter is currently broken you see messages of the english and the RU players.

The developers are already informed and we hope that a fix will arrive soon.

Exactly why do you need a command to just filter out other languages? There is a ingame solution without messing code, it called chat channels. Why make it more difficult than it needs to be Misahky?

A world channel is also scripted. They would need to script WorldRU too. 

Why scripted?: That nobody can take ownership or set a password etc.

 

But: I will ask in the team if this is possible as this is indeed a good suggestion.

Yep it is scripted, but one that is already in place since you opened the server.
Instead of havings something that is currently broken over what blizzard has already
in place and working perfectly why choose the broken one? Yeah it can be fixed within
one month, but what's the point of having a extra command step when there is a simple
solution?

But still, i did not know there was a filter command before coming here to post my suggestion.

Your Suggestion has been accepted.

There is now /join worldRU temporary until the chatfilter will come back and the russian messages will be seperated from the english ones.
