How Wrath of the Lich King progression works.

Hey guys, I found out that if I play on a WotLK server, across different clients my character progresses linearly and the storylines don’t happen simultaneously. That means the original world (Vanilla) covers levels 1-60. Then, from level 60-70 you have The Burning Crusade on a separate continent. Finally, from level 70-80 you go to another continent to experience the Wrath of the Lich King storylines.

So, I was wondering if that’s also how Firestorm’s WotLK client works, and how its bug situation compares to other clients like ChromieCraft or Warmane (I still plan to play on Firestorm, so please be objective).

Is it a progressive server, does it advance through content phases exactly like the game’s original release, instead of starting at the final patch?
