PVP worth coming back?

Got some urge to play some PVP so I'm curious about the situation on the server. How's the current PVP state these days? (Haven't played since merging) Is it worth coming back just for some fun PVP gameplay?

Maybe like:
- Is PVP active on daily basis so you can queue anytime of the day?
- Are donor teams still grouping and destroying everyone like they did before?
- Are people AFKing in bgs like they used to do?
- Is MMR working as it should(Was broken before)?

Is this enough to hear your parameters and benchmarks?
