Possible bug? | Guild Roster

Hey guys! I am pretty new to Shadowlands's guild system..or any newer expansion's guild system, and I was wondering if you've also experienced an auto-promotion going on in your guilds. What I'm trying to say is that initiate members, become fully-fledged members over night. And it becomes increasingly annoying to demote over 300 people one by one. 

This doesn't happen only to initiates, but also to members - becoming Raiders. I don't know how to stop this, since it might become an issue. Who knows what would happen to Raiders, once we'll have a few of those?

Can someone give me some insight/help/whatever?
