I find it odd that names that I've never had trouble using are taken. As in ALL of my names taken. Which makes me wonder if I found Firestorm in the past, and forgot it, and the account used.

I suggest for a fee, sell inactive names from people that are no longer around, and haven't been around for a long time.

Firestorm copied all accounts from legion to BfA. I have suggested they flag characters on inactive accounts, for players who have not logged BfA since launch, so people are able to use those special names. They said they would consider it. That was a long time ago, though.

I agree! For a fee, let us purchase inactive names. ********** just enabled this feature on their store, let's get it rolling for Firestorm!
