Shadowbolt is hard cast, can’t snipe shards, you lose the entire cast if you have to move… I just don’t see how shadowbolt is better. It also doesn’t have the benefit of being able to fit in small gaps of the rotation. If you have a small gap where you have nothing to do, but that gap is smaller than a shadowbolt cast, you’re going to lose DPS Super niche I know, but to me, the rotation feels smoother with drain. It’s meant to fill the gaps and be clipped or cut short without punishing your dps Shadowbolt doesn’t have this functionality
